Biography

David Llauger Meiselman was born in New York City to "US citizen" Milagros Llauger from Ponce, Puerto Rico. He was raised in Chicago and now lives in Los Angeles. He has produced and directed an array of plays, poetry slams, television pilots, radio shows, documentaries, an animated series, and feature length motion pictures: Paris Falls (1999), Urban Graffiti- Live Poetry Slam (2001- 2005), El Matadero (2004), Sunday Evening Hair Cut (2005), Transformations (2006), Loves, Lies, and Revolution (2007), Virgin Love (2007), Red Colombian Sky (2009), Hello And...Goodbye! (2009) Strike One (2015) and The Tunnel (2016) David is a founding member and present artistic director of the American Latino Theatre (2008- Present) AmericanLatinoTheatre.org
