Biography

Tsonka Georgieva Miteva is a Bulgarian actress.She was born on October 18, 1925 in Bulgaria. Endowed by nature with rich voice data, future actress headed to the Music Academy in 1942. She graduated in the class of Professor Lyudmila Prokopova with brilliant "Aria of Bells" from "Lakme" by Delibes. But as a student Tsonka Miteva decided to enroll in two-year Theater School at the National Theatre. She graduated it. Her teacher was Nikolai Masalitinov . She spent much of his career in the troupe of the Youth Theatre , whose member was from 1945 to 1987 when she retired. Until his last step on stage she had preserved her passionate love to her. In 2002, she had dubbed Beilin in feature-length animated movie " Dinosaur ". She had played in number of Bulgarian films: "The inspector and night", directed by Rangel Vulchanov - Aunt Katya; "Incredible Story", directed by Vladimir Yanchev. She died on May 20, 2011 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
