Biography

Robert Edward Verdery was born on May 8, 1974 in Charleston, South Carolina. He is the second child of Edward Hutchinson Verdery and Sandra Kay Verdery. Robert's father was stationed at the Sub Base and deployed at sea when he was born. Robert has one older sister Lauren, noted for her marketing and advertising contributions in New York, as well as a Presidential Appointee in Washington. The family settled in Marietta, Georgia where both children attended elementary through high school. In high school, Robert was a founding member of the "Gress Crew", a forward thinking group with progressive ideas. He founded this organization with the help of James Andrews, Matthew Andrews and Kevin Kirsche. It was in this time period Robert made many improvisational film masterpieces. Such classics are: "The Chatterbox Daily" and "The Opus Hour". Upon completion of high school, Robert graduated from the University of Georgia, with one year on Student Exchange to The University of Idaho. Rob moved to Los Angeles with his dog, Kanati and worked in the industry for ten years. In 2008, Rob returned home to Atlanta and has been working on the various productions taking advantage of Georgia's vibrant film community.
