Nikola Kovachev

Nikola Kovachev was born on November 3, 1926 in Vidin, Bulgaria. At first he studied law, and then graduated from the Bulgarian National Academy of Theater and Film Arts. At the beginning Nikola Kovachev was a theater director, and since 1965 became a film director. He has made documentaries and received many national film prizes.Nikola Kovachev is known for the films Poet and Nature (1970), The Promenade (1975), Wintertime (1978), So What? (1991), and Destiller (1995).
