Gonzalo Tapia

Born in northwest Spain, in Asturias. He studied video at the CEV school in Madrid and filmmaking at the London Film School. After living in London for five years working as assistant editor he returned to Spain and created with other filmmakers ('Iciar Bollaín', 'Santiago García de Leaniz')Producciones La Iguana. With his own company he directed and produced several documentaries and shorts. His first feature "Lena" was a co-production of his company, Piluca Baquero, Anton Reixa and Jose Maceda.
