Giorgio Strehler

Giorgio Strehler was born on August 14, 1921 in Barcola, Trieste, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. He is known for his work on Die Sommerfrische (1965), Die Entführung aus dem Serail (1967) and Il giardino dei ciliegi (1978). He was married to Andrea Jonasson and Rosita Lupi. He died on December 25, 1997 in Lugano, Ticino, Switzerland.
