Milos Stefanovic

Milos Stefanovic was born in Belgrade in 1925. He finished elementary and high school. Milos started working at the Zastava Film studios as an editor on Movie Jurnal. He went in Russia back in 1944 where he studied directing from the great Lav Kulesov and Sergei Eisenstain. Because of some political problems he was deported back to Yugoslavia in 1945. He finished college in Belgrade at the Drama Academy. Milos Stefanovic was the first director in the world who shot medical operation on the opened heart in live tv broadcast. He was the director of several documentaries very important to TV Belgrade. He also did the theatre plays all over ex-YU. Especially in Bosnia where he shot his only feature film _Zenica (1957)_ . Now Milos Stefanovic is retired and he lives in Belgrade near the Sava river enjoying in peaceful walks with his grandchildren Vladimir and Milos.
