Cahide Sonku was born on December 27, 1916 in Yemen as Cahide Serap. She was an actress and producer, known for The Devoted Mother (1949), Namik Kemal and the Motherland (1951) and Beklenen Sarki (1953). She was married to Ihsan Doruk, Talat Artemel and Cahit Irgat. She died on March 18, 1981 in Istanbul, Turkey.
