Robert Smith

Born in london in 1940, his father was a sucessful cinema owner and property tycoon. Despite excellent grades in school he decided not to go to college. In 1958 he became the manager of a band and spent two years in Holland and Germany. In 1960 he went to live in LA for a year in order to become an actor - but with little success. In 1961 he returned to England to take on a buiness venture. Five years later he had bulit up a massive sports and lesuire chain and haulage company. He married a Dutch-English model and had a daughter. After living on four different continents he has stakes in Sport, the Internet, airlines and many other companies.
