Marisa Sistach

Sistach belongs to the prolific generation of Mexican women directors graduated from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) in the 80s. She was awarded with the Ariel (Mexican Academy Award) for her live action short titled ¿Y si Platicamos de Agosto? (1980). Sistach has developed an interesting career directing docummentaries in which she explores the feminine nature. She directed her first feature film in 1988.
