Anette Skåhlberg

Biography

Anette Skåhlberg, is the writer and director of numerous prize winning short films as "Heartbeat" (Cannes International Film Festival Kodak Ward Showcase 2005, and awards in USA and Japan), "I huv'et på en mamma" (Audience award at Cambridge International Film Festival 2004), and is the writer of the acclaimed feature "Mamy Blue" (Bemuda Int Film Festival, USA 2001). She has also written numerous plays and novels, as well as TV dramas and has educated in scriptwriting from script courses at The University College of Film, Sweden. She is also an acclaimed author of books for children and has made over 30 books between 2008 and 2014. Together with the illustrator Katarina Dahlquist she has the publishing company Sagolikt Bokförlag. Anette has a film production company named Stop Film. Stop Film was founded 1998 in Sweden and has made feature film, numerous award winning short films and TV since then. Stop Film is in the process of planning several features and short films for the future. Since Summer 2013 she is also working together with Joakim Thelin and creates films, the first one is under postproduction and will be released Spring 2015. Anette is also holds lectures on directing and screen writing at film festivals, film schools and universities, works as jury on several film festivals. As an actor Anette done the longfeature made in only one take that she will have premiere on 2015, which she also has been writing and directing.
