Lani Silver

Lani was always a reluctant actress. Each of her film appearances has been done as a favor for friends. Lani was born in Chicago, Illinois and is the oldest daughter of Tura Satana (best known for playing the voluptuous Varla in "Faster Pussycat, Kill, Kill") and is the only known daughter of a well known nationally known actor/comedian. The family has had a long-standing working relationship with film Producer/Director, Ted V. Mikels. Lani has appeared briefly in The Worm Eaters (1977) along with her cousin, Robin Cantrell. Lani assisted in props, script, and editing for The Doll Squad (1973). Lani's daughter, Danae Davis, has completed a film project Apartheid Slave-Women's Justice (1997) with Mikels in which Danae has Assistant Director and Videographer credits. Lani's niece (Sharla Rae McGuffey aka Satana) worked on Ted V. Mikel's last film project. "10 Violent Women Part 2" had brief cameos with Lani, her mother (Jade Quinlan), and oldest brother (Glenn Fall).
