Rui Simões

Mr. Simões' award-winning documentary The Good People of Portugal is a unique and vivid account of the 1974 Revolution in Portugal that continues to thrill audiences around the world. With a degree in film and television studies from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion in Brussels, Mr. Simões has worked extensively both as a director and a producer. His Lisbon-based production company, Real Ficção has for the past twenty years been the hub for the production and distribution of numerous documentary, fiction, and animation films. Mr. Simões is also a multimedia teacher and educator.
