Antony Watkins

Antony is the eldest of fraternal twins from the islands of Nova Scotia, he attended community college in Halifax near his hometown before travels to the states from Canada. His grandfather was the loving guide who raised him and home schooled him in all his subjects for his elementary years particularly focused on music. A graduate of University in History, he had an enthusiastic fondness for performing at a young age. He began to pursue singing professionally by a teacher. Upon graduating, he returned to his hometown in Nova Scotia and and began making snowboards,yes,.. working in the local shops; his first snowboarding job was with a Helicopter design line of boards. He began to compete locally but during this time he also studied acting and took classes at the Cape Breton University before he opted to travel to New York City pursuing a singing career and acting. It was in New York where Antony got his first real flavor of what it would require for popular success. Antony has focused on musicals in his hometown and throughout Canada and in New york he continued this focus and has been seen in numerous Off and Off Off Broadway works having been mentored by some of the more noteworthy names in the business. He has traveled regionally on tours across the country and been nominated for a number of awards in the past. His favorite film and musical is Singing In the Rain and was inspired by Gene Kelly.
