Biography

Hughston Walkinshaw is a 1988 graduate of the Theatre Conservatory at the State University of New York at Purchase. In 1989 He moved to Omaha to cofound the nationally acclaimed Blue Barn Theatre with two fellow graduates. Hughston served as Artistic Director of the Blue Barn for the 1997-98 season, during which time he produced an ambitious series of plays including the OBIE award winning "Quills", "Minstrel Show: Thye Lunching of William Brown," and two plays by fellow "Omaha: The Movie" alumnus Tim Siragusa -- "Go-Go Boys from Plaet X!" and "Reform School Timmy."
