Biography

Since 2015, Rome Viharo is the founder and designer of Native Smart tech, a unique audience and content distribution technology platform for the mobile web, and the CEO for Audience Unlock, Inc. He is also the publisher of "Wikipedia, We Have a Problem" an online case study into harassment and abuses in social media, specifically Wikipedia. Previously he was the founder of Media Social, an early viral and social media audience acquisition agency which Viharo sold in 2011. He is also the founder of aiki.wiki, a platform for large-scale online consensus building. Rome Viharo previous to Media Social was an early pioneer and content creator for virals and new emerging digital media, producing new content for Anonymous Productions in 2005 before creative directing a small boutique viral marketing house, one of the first to use and adopt YouTube as early as 2007. He designed, managed, or driven significant campaigns for Audi, VISA, Google, FORD, numerous celebrities and brands. Prior to his work in viral and social media, Viharo was a local digital filmmaker (Winner, Best Short Digi Dance, SlamDance) and EMI recording artist/producer.
