Sofia Vicoveanca

Sofia Vicoveanca (real name Sofia Fusa) is a famous Romanian singer of popular music from the Bucovina area and film actress .She was born on September 23, 1941 in Toporauti, Romania. She graduated from the Popular Art School from Suceava.In 1973, she plays first role in the movie Cantemir .Other notable roles in films : Tusea si junghiul (1992), Ochi de urs (1983) and Vînatoarea de vulpi (1980). She was married with Suceava journalist Victor Micu.Distinguished with the Order of Cultural Merit in the rank of Grand Officer and Order of the Romanian Crown in the rank of knight.
