Bob Tedde

Biography

For most of his adult life Bob Tedde has been a member of Rockola, the award winning, San Diego-based classic rock band (also including Mark DeCerbo, Doug Booth and Bobby Sale). Bob Tedde, primarily a singer and guitarist, is known to learn parts of any instrument, such as keyboards, sitar, ukulele, mandolin, or harmonica to accurately reproduce the music of the 60s. Popular for their precise versions of The Beatles' music, Rockola has recreated Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, The White Album, and Abbey Road with symphony orchestras in many theaters around San Diego including Spreckels Theater and The Birch North Park Theater. Bob Tedde's newest program, The Magical Symphony Youth Orchestra is an orchestra comprised of children and young adults learning to perform classic-rock music with a live band. This program is in the works for becoming a non-profit organization to help further fund Rockola in pursuing music outreach programs to kids of all ability levels. Bob Tedde is also the creator of The Steely Damned, a 15-piece Steely Dan tribute band. You can find all things Rockola and The Steely Damned at www.rockola.com.
