Jon Reuning

Jon Reuning is a playwright living in New York. He was born in Palm Springs, California, and raised in Newton, Massachusetts, where he won a role at age 11 as an original cast member of the Emmy-award-winning PBS children's program "Zoom" in 1972. Jon studied acting at Syracuse University and the New York University Graduate Acting Program, earning a Bachelor of Fines Arts degree. He studied playwrighting at both NYU and Playwrights Horizons. Jonathan has written numerous plays, receiving readings and workshops in development venues around New York City, and is a member of Emerging Artists Theater and the Dramatist Guild Inc.
