Fivos Razi

Biography

A former Greek army officer, Favos Razi started an acting career by chance. He was taking a vacation in Paris when his compatriot Melina Mercouri introduced him to the French movie world through Paulette Dorisse. He got the role of an adventurer in Maurice Labro's "Le Captif". Unfortunately the film shot in 1957-1958 was shelved until 1963 and Razi was offered no other part in France. He worked another time, in Greece this time, playing Aegisthus in Cacoyannis' classic "Ilektra" alongside Irene Papas.
