Susan Raye

Popular country music singer of the 1970's who scored 19 top 40 country hits. Frequent guest star on ''Hee Haw'' which starred her mentor and duet partner Buck Owens. Her 1971 record "L.A. International Airport" was an international pop hit. Retired from the music industry in 1978 but made occasional concert and television appearances for another decade.
