Al Purdy

Al Purdy was born on December 30, 1918 in Wooler, Ontario, Canada as Alfred Wellington Purdy. He was a writer, known for Shoestring Theatre (1959), At the Quinte Hotel (2005) and Al Purdy: A Sensitive Man (1988). He died on April 21, 2000 in Sidney, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
