Biography

Jack grew up in East London with his Mum and older brother. When he was five his Mum sent him to a drama club at the local community centre to get him out of the house during the summer holidays. He was immediately bitten by the acting bug. Fast forward to eighteen and Jack started his training at Drama Centre London and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. At the NYT he played Iago in Shakespeares Othello during their 40th anniversary celebrations and was signed by his first agent while playing Sergeant Merwin J. Toomey in their production of Neil Simons Biloxi Blues in the West End. Jack went straight into television and film work and on to the National Theatre; working with directors including Sir Trevor Nunn, Deborah Warner and Bill Alexander. He has continued to work consistently for over 20 years in the business he loves. Jack lives in Essex with his wife and two daughters.
