William H. Pine

Father of producer Howard Pine, William H. Pine graduated from Columbia University. In 1935 he became the head of publicity for Paramount Pictures and later associate producer for the Cecil B. DeMille production unit at the studio. In 1940 he and partner William C. Thomas formed the Pine-Thomas Organization and produced 81 pictures for Paramount, three of which were awaiting release at the time of his death.
