Arturo Pimentel was born in Patzcuaro, Mexico. He graduated in Sciences of Communication in Guadalajara, Mexico. His professional experience started first in radio production and public relationships. Later on he worked as Creative Director, Scene Director and Post production coordinator in a leading TV commercial production company in Guadalajara, Mexico, which gave him the skills in script, direction, production and, when he ran his first adventure as Line Producer with El agujero (1997) (The Hole) - which would originate Dejarme Disfrutat Films. Since then he has participated ni long feature films such as El sueño del caimán (2001) (Caiman's Dream), Puños rosas (Pink punch) and the documentary ¡Hasta el último trago... corazón! ('til the last drop... corazon!) in Mexico and Sucdió en España (It happened in Spain). At present time he lives in his homeland, Patzcuaro, Mexico and develops his prime opera as Director: Amor a muerte (Love to die).
