Lasse Pihlajamaa was born on August 1, 1916 in Jämijärvi, Finland. He was an actor and composer, known for Lentävä kalakukko (1953), The Village (1957) and My Godfather, His Thai Bride and Me (2012). He was married to Maire Sanelma Kyynäräinen. He died on November 14, 2007 in Helsinki, Finland.
