Rumyana Petkova

Rumyana Petkova graduated film direction at VGIK (Cinema Institute), Moscow (1973). She teaches film direction at SWU "Neofit Rilski" at Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, since 1993. For her movie "Burn, little Fire, Burn" she won the Critic's Prize at the National Film Festival in Varna, and for "A Talk With Birds" - the Liv Ullman Prize at Chicago Film Festival.
