DJ Perry, is an American artist known internationally for his work in motion picture. This Michigan born actor, producer and writer has built a long-standing career in the entertainment industry. As CEO of Collective Development Inc. and as an independent producer he's supervised and/or participated in the overall production of several films in all genres and formats.
His many award winning films have been distributed throughout the world market. DJ while being selective about his project involvement has a reputation for delivering high quality product while staying on schedule and budget. Additionally, he's produced select major commercial projects for companies such as Toyota, Harmon Kardon/JBL, The Non-Ferrous Founders Society and Baker Publishing.
As a screen writer several of his scripts have been produced into award winning feature length motion pictures. Some have debuted at #1 like "Dean Teaster's Ghost Town" (Lionsgate) (7 weeks as #1 western rental) and others like "Wild Faith" have garnished 'Racial Justice Awards' for tackling serious issues and topics. Other writers have also novelized Mr. Perry's screenplays into books like "Ghost Town" (Bob Terrell) "Wild Michigan" (Dee Freeman) and "Knight Chills" (David Hayes). DJ has also been a contributing author on three national books on animals released by Revell/Baker Books.
As an actor, he's become a highly sought out talent moving easily between protagonist and antagonist roles - supporting and leads. He's truly filling a void in the industry that is lacking unique American leading men. Recent roles have included 'Jesus' in parts 1 & 3 of The Quest Trilogy, mountain man 'Ben Lily' in "Wild Faith" and disabled Marine vet 'Paul Landings', in "MBF: Man's Best Friend". releasing next year.
