Dunn Pearson, best described as a Composer/Arranger/Pianist hails from Cleveland, Ohio and credits three women for his success, Jewell Strother (mom), Alverna Mayfield (grandmom) and Mrs. McManning (first piano teacher). These three women provided all the tools Dunn would ever need. Labeled a "child prodigy", Dunns' music abilities shined throughout his school years being named President of his high school (John F. Kennedy) marching band. Received a music composition scholarship to Kent State University where his first big break materialized. The O'Jays recruited Dunn as their keyboardist. Touring the world, Dunns' career quickly blossomed. Moving to New York, Dunn expanded his credits to commercials (McDonalds, Wendys), television (New York Undercover), Broadway (Amen Corner), motion pictures (Ride), records (Mary J. Blige, D'Angelo). Recently Dunn was honored by being inducted into the inagural JFK/Hall Of Excellence and further honored as guest speaker. Given the prestigous Resolution Of Congratulations by the City Of Cleveland, Dunn has made home proud.
