Biography

Donique Grace Patton is a Writer, Producer, Assistant Director, Story & Format Producer and Script Supervisor. She has enjoyed a productive 15-year career in the motion picture industry, specializing in film, television & animation production. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois she left for Des Moines, Iowa and received a Journalism & Mass Communications degree from Drake University. She pursued additional course studies in writing and creative arts as an exchange student in South America, London, Russia & Wales. Upon returning to the States to pursue a career in entertainment, Ms. Patton-Walls worked her way up from an assistant to a sketch comedy writer for the Chicago Second City Theater Comedy Television show "Go Live". Three years later, she moved to Los Angeles where she trained and studied film development at Walt Disney Studios and Warner Bros. Studios. Ms. Patton-Walls moved from film development to live-action animation where she was the animation associate as well as on-location continuity supervisor for the Disney Feature "DINOSAUR". This was an international project that took 10 years and thousands of crew members to bring to fruition. It was shot all over South America and North America (including Hawaii). She has been a script supervisor and Assistant Director on over 100 feature &, television projects including big budget epics & commercials that have shot on 4 continents. She has recently established a production company, Argo Entertainment, LLC where she has eight scripts in development. Having completed the writing of a comedy and a thriller/drama short, she is in pre-production on those projects. Ms. Patton-Walls is in re-write on her latest feature film, "Wild in the West". She and her writer-director husband live in Burbank, California.
