Paul Scherzer

Having spent years overseas in Scotland, Spain, Japan and Australia, Toronto-based producer Paul Scherzer is naturally drawn to international co-productions. Since 2000, Paul's company Six Island Productions has produced award-winning dramatic features, documentaries, TV series and digital media projects playing festivals from Toronto to Cannes, Berlin to Busan and selling into all markets. Prior to forming Six Island, Paul worked for Telefilm and the National Film Board of Canada. He is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre established by Norman Jewison, a TIFF Studio alumnus, and a member of the Canadian Media Producers' Association, the Canadian Academy, and the European producers' network ACE.
