Hans Scheugl

Born in 1940 in Vienna. Film Academy Vienna. Founding member of the Austria Filmmakers' Cooperative (together with Valie Export, Kurt Kren, Gottfried Schlemmer, Ernst Schmidt jr. and Peter Weibel). Between 1966 and 1968 numerous films and film actions. Camera work for Weibel, Schmidt and Otto Muehl. Many articles and books on film. Long travels to India. In 1980 return to film work. 1982 re-founding of the Filmmakers' Cooperative. Filming again since 1985.
