Sue Sawyer

Sue Sawyer is an actress and singer. She started her career in 1982 touring the clubs of the South East of England as a Cabaret artist after serving her apprenticeship in Warner's holiday camps. She did a lot of work for CSE (Combined Services Entertainment) as well as major entertainment venues around the UK and top hotels and casinos in India, Sri Lanka, Portugal and Madeira. At this time she also did some acting work doing training videos for BHS and other companies. In 1993 she was asked by Ken Loach to be the foster mother Ladybird Ladybird alongside Chrissie Rock and Ray Winstone which won a silver bear at the Berlin film festival. Due to having a young family at that time Sue did not continue acting at that time but continues performing as a singer to this day both on her own and as a performer in a Cockney Cabaret with Cockney Pride which combines both her acting and vocal skills.
