Also known as Alex Salkind , he is the father of Ilya Salkind . They were partners on the hugely successful blockbuster franchise. Superman 1,2 & 3 . They were partners for decades. They also take credit for producing the first " comic book movie " with Superman The Movie ". . Together The Salkinds are possibly one of the most successful , father / son producing teams in motion picture history.
