Aleksandr Samoylov

He graduated from GITIS in 1977 (Goncharov workshop). He worked at the Mayakovsky Theater, at the Moscow Regional Drama Theater, at the Ostrovsky Moscow Regional Drama Theater. Since 1994 - in the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater named after Gorky. Father - People's Artist of the USSR, laureate of State Prizes of the USSR and the RSFSR Vladimir Yakovlevich Samoilov. Mother - artist of the Mayakovsky Theater Nadezhda Samoilova. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1997).
