David Runco

Biography

David Runco was born and raised in New York. David has a supporting role in Gasline, which won the 2002 Sundance Film Festival Jury Prize as a short. He has also appeared on One Life To Live in a recurring role as the drummer in the Kortney Kayle band. His theater work includes The New York Times critically acclaimed production of No Mother To Guide Her at The Flea Theater, directed by Jim Simpson. In addition, he worked with Israel Horovitz on The Widow's Blind Date at the John Houseman Theater and he performed as Aramis in a National Tour of The Three Musketeers. You can see David in the starring role in the soon to be released feature film Machines Of Love And Hate. He has appeared as a principal on The Upright Citizens Brigade. Other NYC theater credits include the lead role in The Uninvited Guest at The Mint Theater, Paul Westerberg in Paul Westerberg at the Soho Rep and roles in Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth. As a professional drummer in years past, David worked with The Rembrandts and with members of both Guns N' Roses and The Matthew Sweet Band.
