Joal Ryan

Joal Ryan co-wrote the Emmy-winning documentary, "Miracle on 42nd Street." Ryan has contributed to the New York Times (Motherlode), the Los Angeles Times, Yahoo!, CNET, Variety, TV Guide, E! Online, the San Francisco Chronicle and public radio's "Marketplace." She is the author "Katharine Hepburn: A Stylish Life" (St. Martin's Press) and other books. "Miracle on 42nd Street" was named Best Documentary at the 2020 New York Emmy Awards. It has aired at the United Nations, and saw its broadcast premiere on New York PBS station WNET.
