Michael Ryan

Started his career working in the TV industry for Sir Lew Grade's UK company, ITC. In 1978 formed J&M Entertainment, a distribution sales agent for independent films, with Julia Palau. As J&M grew it also provided production finance. Founded GFM Films in 2011 alongside Guy Collins and Fred Hedman. Elected Chairman of the Independent Film & Television Alliance five times, in 2003, 2005 and then in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
