Joette Robinson

She was born Joet Robinson on June 15, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio. Her family moved to California and in her late teens, Joet ran her own dance studio in Alhambra, CA. She was discovered by talent scouts and began a career as a dancer in dozens of films including Singing in the Rain, Pajama Game and The Band Wagon. In 1944 Joet married her beloved husband Robert Ranker. They were married 68 years. After her movie career, Joet and Rob opened Valley Hi Mobile Park, San Jacinto, CA and lived in Hemet for 58 years. Joet enjoyed playing bridge, golf, swimming and entertaining family and friends. She and Rob traveled the world on many tours and cruises.
