Billy Robinson

British wrestler, who made his debut in America in the 1970s, Robinson figured to become a heavyweight champion due to his technical skill as a wrestler, but it never came to be despite several championship matches against AWA heavyweight champion Nick Bockwinkel. Robinson did however earn two AWA World Tag-Team titles, one with AWA legend Verne Gagne, the other with The Crusher, ironically both AWA Heavyweight champs themselves. A good guy for most of his career, Robinson finally gave in to temptation and became a bad guy, but it still didn't matter as the heavyweight title eluded him.
