María Eugenia Ríos

María Eugenia Ríos Romero was born August 4, 1935 in Mexico City, the daughter of Roberto Ríos. Her father wanted her to be an actress, then he accepted to consider such career if she graduated as a bilingual executive secretary. She studied acting at the Academy of Andrés Soler, with the teacher Seki Sano, in 1954. Fernando Soler called in for a theater tour in the study where actor Oscar Morelli was, they fell in love at first sight, after 31 days of courtship they married on June 2, 1958 in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, they had four children: Oscar Bonfiglio (actor), Andres (vocals), Gustavo and María Eugenia. The marriage lasted 47 years (until his death). She made his debut as an actress in theater, then worked in film and television.
