Page Reynolds was born a boy in Rutland Vermont in 1961. After attending Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Rutland, Page moved to San Diego with her mother and older sister. At age 20 Page started experimenting with crossdressing and role playing exotic females. By age 21 Page started female hormone therapy and moved to San Francisco. In San Francisco she was discovered as a female fashion model and was the subject of numerous greeting cards distributed nationally. In 1987 she moved to Boston and become a leading member of the gay avante-guard scene. She continued modeling and began stage performing. In 1989 Page moved to Manhattan where she appeared in Harpers Bazaar in the Absolute Vodka campagin. She continued stage performing, singing, club promoting and modeling. Although she had been living and passing as a female for 20 years, in 1997 Page has surgery to change her sex from male to female. In January 2002 she was featured in the New York Times as an ultimate anarchist.
