Georg Metz

A well-known Danish journalist and author. Employed first by the radio department of DR in 1969, Georg Metz moved on to television as a reporter and then anchor for TV-Avisen (1965) from 1976 to 1988. He was then a film consultant for Statens Filmcentral, 1988-1991. Since 1991 he has worked for Danish newspaper Information, first as a feature editor, between 1994 and 1996 as editor-in-chief and since 1996 as a columnist and critic. He has published multiple books in fact as well as fiction and is a steady figure in public debate, known for his sharp pen and humanistic, centre-left views.
