Born in Brooklyn and raised in Peekskill, N.Y. Joe began his career as an actor at the age of 11 in the summer-stock production of "Bye Bye Byrdie" as Randy MacAfee.
Joining Charles Lowe's "Off Broadway Show-Offs" he became a "Triple Threat Entertainer", singing, tap dancing and acting. In his teens he taught himself how to play bass guitar and guitar eventually turning to piano in his mid 20's.
Because of a throat problem Joe learned to impersonate many recording artists of the 60's, 70's and 80's laying the ground work as an opening act in comedy clubs and concerts. Joe has also been involved in dozens of commercials as a music/jingle writer and voice actor and still managed to co-star in "My Fair Lady" as Alfred P. Doolittle, Lord Brockhurst in "The Boyfriend" and in "Oklahoma" as Ali Hakim on stage.
Performing, acting and writing Joe continues his "Triple Threat" career although he jokingly admits "...not so much dancing".
