Stefan Menz

Stefan Menz was born into a family that has been active in various areas of the film industry since 1927. His own career in the media industry started in 1984, when, after a year of internships at various post-production companies, he moved to New York to work for Michael J. Solomon's Telepictures Corporation. Upon his return to Germany, Stefan Menz joined atlas international Film GmbH, a leading German feature film sales company, founded in 1967 by his father, Dieter Menz. In 1992, Stefan Menz was made a partner and appointed co-president of atlas international. In December of 2013, Stefan and his brother and co-president Philipp Menz sold atlas international to Medient Studios Inc, a US entertainment content creation company, headquartered near Savannah, Georgia. In 2009, Stefan and Philipp Menz founded Menz & Friends GmbH, a production company focused on developing and producing English language mainstream entertainment features, geared at the international market.
