Brita McVeigh

Brita began her work as an acting coach and story consultant working with Taika Waititi on his feature films Eagle vs Shark (2007) and Boy (2010). In 2018 she collaborated with filmmaker Cate Shortland on the development of her 8-part episodic project The Monaro. Brita has, over the last decade, contributed to the development of over 140 feature film, short film, television and theatre projects in New Zealand and Australia. She also helms the Acting for Humans workshop series, and also Writing for Humans, in both New Zealand and Australia. So far her workshops have been attended by more than 900 creative professionals.
