André Maurois

André Maurois was born on July 26, 1885 in Elbeuf, Seine-Inférieure [now Seine-Maritime], France. He was a writer, known for Pensione Edelweiss (1959), Mistake (1953) and Night Gallery (1969). He was previously married to Jane-Wanda "Janine" de Szymkiewicz and Simone de Caillavet. He died on October 7, 1967 in Paris, France.
