Rafael Marziano Tinoco

Venezuelan filmmaker, a graduate architect (Simon Bolivar University, Caracas, 1982), studied Cinematography at PWSFTviT in Lodz, Poland (1990). His graduate essay ( The forth Metaphor, 1990) was published in the Kwartalnik Filmowy (a quarterly film publication from the Polish Academy of Sciences). He started as a documentary filmmaker with The Track of Ants, 1993, shown at New Directors/New Films FF and awarded at Philadelphia Int FF (1994) He is Professor at Cinema Department, Art School, Universidad Central de Venezuela. CEO Makatoa Media Producciones and B Of D of Laboratorio Audiovisual "Margot Benacerraf", UCV, Caracas. He designed two Film Libraries in the UCV campus, financed by the Venezuelan filmmaker Margot Benacerraf.
