Noel Marcos

The boy-actor Noel Marcos was son of the actor Dionisio de Azevedo and the actress Flora Geny. Due to his desire to have a bicycle (his parents never gave him one since they considered it a very dangerous mean of transportation), Noel decided to apply for an audition to a soap-opera called Seu Unico Pecado (Record Television Network) that was in pre-production. He was approved by the producers and got the job. With the money from his first salary, Noel bought his so-dreamed of bicycle. On a Saturday afternoon, while his parents were watching the musical Hair, Noel was knocked down and killed by a car while riding his bicycle. A horrible tragedy that caused the cancellation of the soap-opera.
