Bernard Mariano

Born in Hong Kong of Filipino descent, Mariano was picked for the role of Sadiq Hossein in Bloodsport (1988) after being spotted working out in a gym in Wan Chai. At the time, he needed the money to pay for his university fees. Mariano graduated with a degree in English Literature and History at the University of Hong Kong and works as an English teacher.
